Mario Nentwich

Mario Nentwich received his first percussion lessons at the age of six from his father Felix Nentwich at the music school in his hometown Leopoldsdorf. Here he also learned the instruments piano, trombone and electric bass.


At the age of 13, Mario moved to the Music and Art University of the City of Vienna and began studying percussion with Mag. Harald Demmer in the preparatory course.

After graduating from high school in 2012, he began military service with the Gardemusik Wien.

This was followed by the bachelor's degree in percussion (2012 to 2016 with Prof. Anton Mittermayr) and the master's degree in percussion (since 2016 also with Prof. Anton Mittermayr) at the Music and Art University of the City of Vienna . The studies were supplemented by numerous master classes with internationally renowned artists.



Mario Nentwich teaches at the Groß Enzersdorf, Gänserndorf and Orth an der Donau music schools.
