Claire Litzler

Percussionist, singer, born in 1990 in Saint-Louis. Claire Litzler started playing the piano at the Saint-Louis Conservatory at the age of 5, then quickly became interested in the percussion family. At the age of 17, she entered the Strasbourg Conservatory in classical percussion and obtained the « diploma of musical studies », « the national diploma of professional musician », « the state diploma of percussion teacher » and a « bachelor » in musicology.


She then continued her studies at the Bern University of Arts, where she obtained her Master's degree in musical interpretation and pedagogy in June 2017. At the same time, she taught percussion for several years at the « Conservatoire de Saint-Louis » before being appointed professor of percussion at the « Musik Akademie Basel » in 2016. That same year, she founded her private drum & percussion school in Hagenthal-le-bas, which currently has about forty students. She regularly plays in major professional orchestras (Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra, Basel Symphony Orchestra, Mulhouse Symphony Orchestra) and has won numerous national and international prizes (in Belgium, Italy and the "Hit like a girl" in the USA).


In 2012 and 2015, she was invited to play a vibraphone concerto as a soloist with the « Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg ». She regularly gives recitals and master classes all over the world: Taiwan, Portugal, USA, Holland, England, Switzerland, Germany... In addition to her passion for teaching and classical percussion, she plays the vibraphone and sings regularly in her projects "ASAT" and "Duosmose".


In 2019, she participated in the show "The Voice : la plus belle voix" on TF1 and was selected in Julien Clerc's team. She also performed as Patrick Bruel's opening act at the Colmar Wine Fair in front of more than 10,000 people.


In 2020, she participated again in the show "The Voice of Germany" and remained in the running until the quarter-finals in Mark Forster's team. That same year, she released her first album "De l'ombre à la lumière", mixing compositions and covers of French songs.

Claire is an "Adams", "Resta/Jay", "Southern Percussion" and "Black Swamp" artist.
